Cheryl Harman
Cheryl is the
clinical team leader for the Acute Medicine Physiotherapy team, this is
a team of 13 qualified and 3 non-qualified staff that provides a
physiotherapy service for the acute medical in-patients at the Northern
General Hospital.
Her clinical work is with the Cystic
Fibrosis (CF) team at the Northern General Hospital where her main role
is carrying out of the physiotherapy assessment of the patients during
their yearly annual review. This incorporates a thorough review of their
present physiotherapy regime for airway clearance, exercise, posture and
musculo-skeletal problems, incontinence awareness and exercise testing.
Cheryl has
considerable experience in the field of Cystic Fibrosis having treated
some of the adult patients since before the setting up of the current CF
service.
